Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT and KISS,
Highlighted the importance of internationalisation in higher education as KIIT and KISS welcomed a 38-member delegation from the City University of New York (CUNY) under the IndiaTrek initiative. The delegation, comprising 28 students and 10 faculty members from seven CUNY colleges, is on a 10-day visit. IndiaTrek enables international students to experience India’s culture, history, traditions and community life while interacting with KIIT and KISS students. Dr. Samanta expressed happiness at welcoming the delegation and said education should bring people, cultures and countries closer, strengthening global academic and cultural exchange and meaningful learning opportunities.
