UAE Schools Set to Begin 2026–27 Academic Year With New Focus

Schools across the UAE are preparing to welcome students for the 2026–27 academic year, with classes scheduled to begin on August 31, 2026. The new session will bring renewed attention to academic achievement, student wellbeing, technology and future-ready learning.

International schools are also preparing to welcome students following a range of globally recognised curricula, including British and American programmes. New and expanding campuses are adding modern facilities and learning spaces to meet growing demand from families.

The academic calendar includes 185 instructional days across three terms. Schools are expected to combine classroom learning with greater emphasis on innovation, creativity, digital skills and practical education, helping students develop capabilities needed for an increasingly technology-driven world.
